ecoprint 2 on vintage damask R650

Description

This cushion is made with  ecoprinted fabric. A variety of  eucalyptus leaves and fynbos were carefully placed on  a upcycled vintage damask panel  front, tightly rolled, bundled and then boiled in copper water to release the tannins (colour) from the leaves and print the shapes of the plants. Whereas teh iron makes the colour blue the copper draws out the greens.This is a one of a kind cushion as it is almost impossible to recreate results in this alchemical process.

Minimum order: 1 cushion (sold ex inner)
Print on front only with zip, cotton linen  backing and piping.
Delivery: 1- 2 weeks

Size: 60cm X 60cm (cushion sold ex inner)

Care instructions: Wash in cold water, using ph neutral detergent, line dry and iron on reverse. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.
